What is it?Piano Chord Helper is a free program written by Rob Wright to help piano and keyboard players, by clearly showing the piano keys they should be hitting to sound certain chords. The uses are numerous: if you've got some sheet music with guitar chords on it, you can use this program to help you make sense of it all. There's over 600 chords, MIDI capabilities and best of all, it's completely free.
PCH is currently at version 4.3, released July 2006, which fixes some of the bugs in East-Asian systems related to runtime errors. Thanks to Queenie for her help in solving this problem.
PCH was written a number of years ago using Visual Basic 6. The world has moved on from the days of this programming language, and it's currently being rewritten in VB.NET. There may be a few bugs here and there but you shouldn't have any issues.
